  • 1. First, complete the One Time Registration (OTR) on the UPSC official website if you haven't done it before.
  • 2. Log in using your OTR ID and navigate to the Active Examinations tab to select Civil Services (Preliminary).
  • 3. Fill out the Part-I registration by providing your personal details and choice of exam (IAS, IFS, or both).
  • 4. Complete the Part-II registration which includes payment of the application fee via online mode or pay-in-slip.
  • 5. Upload your scanned photograph and signature in the specified .jpg format ensuring clarity.
  • 6. Upload a scanned copy of your Photo ID proof in PDF format as per the required dimensions.
  • 7. Select your examination center for both Prelims and Mains carefully as they cannot be changed later.
  • 8. Agree to the declaration and submit the form, then download the system-generated application for future reference.
